Protestant Ceremonies
Protestant weddings are indeed possible in the UK. We plan both Protestant blessings and legally recognised Protestant ceremonies. For a Protestant wedding to be legally binding the civil preliminaries need to be met. However for a Church of England ceremony there is usually no need to involve the registrar.
Protestant ceremonies can either take place in a beautiful Protestant church or you could arrange to have the celebrant travel to your location of choice, such as a remote castle or mountain top. However, only in Scotland and Northern Ireland it is possible to have a religious ceremony performed in an alternative venue.
If you have been previously married, please advise your wedding coordinator, who will then make sure whether there are any impediments to a Protestant ceremony being carried out.
