There are just so many highlights when visiting this Elegant Escape! Even though the restaurant is undoubtedly the focal point, you should make some time to explore the 27 acres of grounds and marvel at the statues and sculptures while enjoying peaceful strolls. Dwell beside the English water gardens on the way to the Japanese Tea garden, approached by crossing an enchanting gravel bridge. It provides a tranquil setting where you can “shake off the dust of the world” as the plaques read. There is a little trail of stepping stones leading to an oriental hut.
A very romantic suite, separate from the hotel, makes a perfect love nest for the newlyweds! This original 15th century room has an incredible contemporary bathroom downstairs, fit with a Victorian freestanding bath while the bedroom, located upstairs, has a queen size bed and lovely wooden beams with views over the main gardens.
There is an organic kitchen garden onsite, supplying the kitchen with a whole range of herbs and vegetable used in their heavenly meals.
